Early Spring on the Beach

The beach in the late winter/ early spring is my absolute favorite. Perhaps it stems from a romanticized aesthetic of morning beach walks, wearing a cozy sweatshirt and sipping local coffee. Or the allure of the quiet, sleepiness of a town that doesn’t fully awaken until the bustling days of summer. Regardless of what initially piqued my interest at traveling to the water during the “off” season, it seems as though life change has always accompanied these wintery beach visits. Looking back, I am most reminded of peaceful refuge it provided as I was going through some of the most impactful moments of my early adulthood.
